Sometimes
We don’t understand
Why God seems
Just beyond our hand
And sometimes
We can’t seem to see
The truth of God’s love
And our victory
There are days we forget
What God really meant
When He gave His Son for us
Sacrificed on the cross

Your weakness in Him
Is turned to strength
It’s time to see the truth
No matter who we are
Or what we’ve done
We need not worry about
What we will become
God has come to break your chains
He has come to set you free
The battle’s fought, the dragon’s slain
You are clean; release your shame!
Love is patient, love is kind
He will deliver you
The war is ours, it’s sealed in blood
Our Lord will see us through
Stand firm today and run the race
That God has called you to
